i may not, but he surely will.
Romans 10:9That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.it is a sore to my naked eye when i see font that are horredously big. A fine example will be the one that i'm currently using. For cow sake, i do not comprehend what is going on with this system. Still, i will not let this little barrier restrict my momentum in writing this little post. That was the verse that resounded within the walls of my brain while i was travelling home on the bus with a friend of mine. The verse clearly states that if we confess and BELIEVE in our hearts that if Jesus is our LORD and SAVIOUR then we will be saved. Yes, as easy as it sounds, but many times we do not live our life as if Jesus is the Lord and Saviour of our lives. Simply put, calling him saviour is much easier than a lord, isn't it? Or should i say that calling beliving that he's our saviour and lord in our hearts is easier said that done? Many times, we acknowledge Jesus as our saviour in our minds, yet we do not truly believe it in our hearts. Our belief will be manisfested through our actions. However, sometimes we do not even live our this belief that Jesus is our saviour. Take for example, after we have sinned, then we asked God for forgiveness. It does not stop there, after awhile later, we reanact the whole scene of forgivenss again. We felt that God has not forgiven us. The fact that Jesus died on the cross showed that he has forgiven us when we ask him too. But we live our lives as if he is no saviour and forgiver at all.Next, is Jesus truly the Lord of our lives? Are there still areas that we are still holding on? Come on, let's face it. Obedience is not an easy thing to do, surely it will take a little from you. If not, it's just called convience. When was the last time your truly obeyed? Let Jesus be the Lord of our lives. :)hoegarden
